Welcome to Reiki Ambience

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning universal life energy.  It is a bioenergenic hands-on healing that taps into the energy called ki in Japan and chi in China.  Reiki healing techniques focus and transmit this energy to another person.  The word Reiki is composed of two Japanese words - "Rei" which can be translated as universal, higher power, and "Ki" which can be translated as "Spiritual or life force energy.  Reiki promotes physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing.  Reiki has no harmful side effects and is a useful adjunct to traditional and alternative medicine treatments.

Reiki Sessions

A Reiki practitioner acts as a conduit through which Reiki energy flows. Through a series of hand positions over the body the needed amount of energy is received to bring the mind and body energies into balance.  Most people experience deep relaxation and sometimes feel warmth and a tingling sensation, and a sense of well-being and calm.
